Studi Pendahuluan: Jamur yang Diisolasi dari Debu di Rumah Penampungan Tenaga Kerja Wanita
The existence of house dust remind us to the allergic respiratory disease and bronchial asthma. A preliminary report of several fungi isolated from the women labourer boarding house's dust has been done. The aim of the study was to investigate the fungi type in the dust. The investigation was done from May 2008 to September 2008, by isolating and inoculating the dust on the Sabouraud dextrose agar. Aspergillus colonies was the most founded fungus in the study, consisted of 3338 colonies (42,32%). Candida and dermatophytes were also isolated from the house dust. It could be concluded that in the room without AC and with fan, more fungus colonies founded compared to the rooms with AC and without fan nor rooms without AC and without fan.
