Status Gizi dan Lama Rawat pada Pasien Rawat Inap di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Sanglah Denpasar
Nutritional status is an important factorfor supporting the recovery time of patient in hospital. However, under nutrition is usually a main problem for the patient. Normal nutritional status could increase the responsiveness of treatment and limit days in hospital. Under nutrition could decrease immunity system, increase the risk of complication. As a result, this could add time of stay and time for recovery This study aim is to find out the correlation between nutritional status before staying in hospital, nutritional status change and time of stay for patients in Sanglah Hospital Cent er Denpasar. This is an observational study using cross-sectional approach. Population study is new in-patients class 3 in Sanglah Hospital Center Denpasar, age more than 13 years old, time limit in hospital 5 days. Total sample of the study was 50 samples. Collected data were sample identity, before and after in patient nutritional status and length of stay The study found that normal nutritional status before in hospital was 22 sample (44%), and 12 sample (24%) experienced severely under nutrition. There was 30 samples (60%) with normal nutritional status and 8% sample with severely under nutrition after in-patient. There was an increase about 40% of normal nutritional status.
