Uji Efek Imunostimulasi Ekstrak Air Biji Jintan Hitam (Nigella sativa L.) pada Mencit Putih (Mus musculus L.) Secara Bersihan Karbon (The Test of Immunostimulating Effect of Water Extract of Nigella Sativa on White Mice by Carbon Clearance Methode)

The immunostimulation effect has been determined by the test of black cumin seed extract in water on non specific immune response of white mice (Mus musculus L.)- The mothode used was the carbon clearance, detected by spectrophotometry at wavelength of 640 nm. Male mice of 3 months old were used which are consisted of 5 groups, 5 per group, i.e, positive group of 0, 78 mg/bwgrams mice, negative group that treated in 3 levels of dosage, i.e, 1,30 mg/bw, 13,02 mg/bw, and 26,03 mglbw. The results showed that the water extract of the black cumin seed at the doses of 1,30; 13,02; and 26, 03 mglbw gave the effect on immuno-stimulatory in mice.
