Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Ibu Tidak Memberikan Asi Eksklusif di Kelurahan Plosokerep Kecamatan Saanweten Blitar

Exclusive breast milk feeding is breast milk feeding giving since baby born until around 6 month age without giving of other food and also addllion beverage. Department of Health and World Health Organization (WHO) has old targets fomentation to all mother to give mothers milk exclusively to their baby, but practically, execution of the fomentation a long way off. The research aim were identified the level of knowledge, mother's milk insufficient factor, sociaf culture factor, formula milk marketing and promotion factor that influence mother not giving breast milk feeding exclusively. The research design used descriptive explorative design. The sample size was 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The sample was the mothers who had 0-6 month baby and not givmg exclusive mothers milk. The research result showed that they have a mederate level of knowledge about exclusive breast milk feeding, insufficiency mother's milk production, the social culture factor, and promotion of formula mifk for baby. The suggestion for Puskesmas is giving health promotion about the advantages for giving intensive exclusive breast milk feedmg by using poster, sheet back and a/so other media.
