Parenting pattem of parents will affect the child's personality. Democratic parenting that will build a child becomes an independent kid. The aim of the study is known the relationship between paranting pattem with independency of children in 3-4 years old. This study used an analytic observational study with cross sectional approach. The population is children aged 3-4 years who became member in PAUO Mawar, and sample was selected by simple random sampling. The data was analyzed by Chi-square test. The result was a relationship between parenting pattem with independency of children in 3-4 years old.
