Pengetahuan Remaja Putri Tentang Sadari untuk Deteksi Dini Kanker Payudara

Breast self-examination is a way to detect abnonnalily of breast, ie. breast cancer. Breast cancer can be healed up to 90% succeed if it be treated in earty stage. That's why earty detection of breast cancer is important by breast self-examination. The main goal of this study is known level of knowledge of adolescence girls about breast self-examination for early detection of breast cancer in Senior High School 7 Surabaya. The study used cross sectional designed, and sample was 96 respondents that selected by purposive sampling. The data is described by percentage descriptive analysis. The result showed that tne respondents had a low level of knowledge about detection of breast cancer. One of solution of this problem is health education about breast self-examination for them.
