This study is a cross sectional analytic design. The purpose of this research is known the relationship of the parenting with the habits of students in completing of academic tasks. Thepopulation is student of Nursing Department of Health Ministry of Health Polytechnic of 5urabaya, while the sample is selected by random sampling, are 70 students. The data be analyze by using statistical tests ''logistic regression analysis. " The result is nearly half of each student had a history of democratic upbringing and his parents are overprotective, only a small portion of permissiveness. To accomplish the task of academic habits similar results are obtained each half often delay and on time. Logistic regression test results show the value of p = 0.023, OR value parenting variables is 2689 (95% Cl: 1181-6124), So it turns out the implementation of democratic discipline and overprotective on student impact on the completion of the task with great responsibility and high self-confidence, so that the tendency of adolescents to perform academic tasks become habit delay the task is less.
