Ekspresi Protein Ki-67 pada Sediaan Blok Parafin Jaringan Kanker Paru Jenis Karsinoma Bukan Sel Kecil yang Menjalani Pembedahan
Background: The Ki-67 protein is a biomarker associated with cell proliferation and from some literature it can be valuable negative prognostic factor in non-small cell lung cancer. We investigated the Ki-67 protein expression in resected non-small cell lung cancer to evaluated the impact on clinicopathological characteristics and postoperative prognosis.
Material and Method: Using monoclonal antibody Ki-67, we immunohistochemically examined 43 surgically resected non-small cell lung cancers to determine Ki-67 expression. We analyzed the prognostic significance in comparison with clinicopathological characteristics and survival between positive Ki-67 expression and negative expression.
