The length of stage 11 refers to the process of childbirth for at least two hours for primigravida and 1 hour to multi gravida. Length of stage 11 is caused by Power, Passanger, Passageway, rescuers and psychological of mother, like anxiety. Anxiety causes hormone levels associated with increased stress resulting in stage Illabor prog(f!ss normally. Formulation of the problem is defined is "Is there a relationship with the Anxiety with the length of Kala 11 in Maternity Lebor?". The research objective was to analyze the relationship of anxiety with the length of stage 11 labor. The study design was observstionsl analytic. The study was conducted in RSlA Nyai Ageng Pinatih in Gresik. The population used was all mothers who is delivery in RSlA Nyai Ageng Pinatih in Gresik on 5 May to 20 June 2010, are 109 mothers, and a number of sample are 49 with accfdent sampling technique. Data obtained using the check list and partograph the primary data source. The results obtained from 49 maternal, a total of 12 maternal (24.49%) experienced mild anxIety, and 13 maternal (26.53%) experienced severe anxiety and 22 maternal (44.90%) had long period of Kala IL Test results using the chi S{luare statistic obtained X2 count> X2 table (15.41> 5.99) so that means that's HO Is rejected, there Is relationship between anxiety with length of Kala IL Conclusion The suggestion to shorten the duration Kala II is to reduce maternal anxiety through physiological processes of counselling about labor, childbirth and the importance of support from husbands and families during the birth process.
