Hubungan Tingkat Kepatuhan Pelaksanaan Observasi Kala 1 dengan Kondisi Bayi Baru Lahir

Midwife is the staff of health in the first line as an implementer of rearing give birth. They are really expected obey in giving birth with giving normal birth and doing the observation of first period by using partograph in every birth. Based on the first survey of twelve private practical midwife in Magetan could be found result four from twelve of midwifes who had made observation first period as the standard. Eight of other midwife had not make observation first period as the standard. This things comes with the height of the death of the new born baby cause of asphyxia in Magetan. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between the obedience of observation work first period level and the condition of the new born baby. Type of this research analytic survey using Hcross secttonst" research plan. The population are all of the mother who are having birth from April 26 up to may 24 2009 in the area of public hospital in Bendo. This hypothesa test with one direction kendall's tau b. The conclusions of this research is most of giving care to the baby i~ the area of public hospital in Bendo are obedient to do the observation first period and least the baby in the area of public hospital in Bendo was born with normal condition. Based on the analysis correlation two variable bivariate kendall's tau b is there is significance correlation between the obedience of observation work first period level with the condition of the new born baby on the mistaken level 5%, among variable the obedience of observation work first period level and variable the condition of the new born baby to the mother who has a give birth in the area of public hospital in Bendo gives a moderate solidify level and has positive correlation. The early detection theory of having strange birth and handling the emergency complication in a birth is applied by all of midwife to increase the health of the mother and her baby when they are in a birth process. The social should choose of having a birth in the health post or hospital for in every process of having birth owns high risk, so the social can get intensive and better care for the mother and her baby
