Perbedaan Pemakaian Kontrasepsi Suntik Cyclo dan DMPA terhadap Perubahan Berat Badan di BPS yayuk Ismail Surabaya
Modern family planning contraceptive injection is the most widely used problem that women often found in injectable contraceptive acceptors. Side effects occurred in injectable hormonal contraception acceptors is disturbed menstrual pattern such as amenorrhea, spotting or bleeding menoraghia and spotting, delayed return of fertility after discontinuation of use, the body weight of 2 kg of body weight at first arrival. Weight gain is a common side effect. The purpose of the study was to determine differences in the use of injectable contraceptives and DMPA cyclo to changes in body weight. This study is an analytical, cross sectional desigQ. The population are all injectabt; acceptors who visited in BPS Yayuk Ismsi! in Surabaya who are already using injectable contraceptives for 1 year, Sample for this study use systematic random sampling technique sampling. The data be analyzed with statistical analysis: Chi-Square. The result is there are differences between the contraceptive injection with changes in body weight. Most of the acceptor cyclo experiencing weight gain, and only a small proportion who experience weight loss, and almost of all DMPA,'s acceptors experienced weight gain, and only a small proportion who experience weight loss. Recommendation to Midwives is Improvent services by providing counseling about side effects on family planning acceptors at each potential acceptor injecting syringe
