Pengaruh Paparan Rokok pada Ibu Hamil terhadap Kejadian Abortus di RB Sugiarti Surabaya
Exposure to cigarette can affect the pregnancy, one miscarriage risk. SCientific evidence shows that exposure to smoking during pregnancy increases the risk of fetal death and disorder. Exposure to environmental factors, smoking is a cause of abortion other than matemal factors and fetal factors. The aim of research to determine the effect of smoking on pregnant women exposure on the inddence of abortion. This study is an analytical study with cross sectional design. The population was 108 pregnant women with a sample of 86 pregnant women with the ANC in RB Sugiarti in Surabaya. The experiment was conducted in April 2010 until June 2010. Technique of sampling is using simple random sampling. The independent variable was exposure to cigarette, and dependent variable was the incidence of abortion. Data were collected with a sheet collecang data from medical records and interviews. Analysis using chi-square test with 16.0 of SPSS for windows wllh 0 = 0.05 of significance level. From the results, 37.04%, nearly half are women working in the dgarette manufacturer has a history of abortion while the majority 84.75% of mothers who 40 not work the cigarette manufacturer had no history of abortion. Based on chi-square test results showed the opportunity factor (p) 0.024, where «0) of 0.05, so that Ho is rejected, it can be concluded that there is exposure to the influence of smoking on pregnant women the incidence of abortion.
