Pelatihan Senam Indonesia Jaya Lebih Meningkatkan Kebugaran Fisik dari pada Pelatihan Jalan Aerobik Mahasiswa Jurusan Kebidanan Poltekkes Denpasar
Abstract: Decrease in physical fitness is responsible for various health problems such as heart disease, blood vessel-related diseases, easily getting tired and a drop in work efficiency and effectiveness. Any physical exercise may cope with the fall in physical fitness. However, among the physical exercise which are useful are the gymnastic exercise of Indonesia Jaya and the aerobic exercise. This study is an experimental one, in which the randomized pretest-postest control group design was employed. The samples totaled twenty two students. The samples were randomly divided into two. One was provided with the gymnastic exercise of Indonesia Jaya and the other was provided with the aerobic exercise. Both exercise lastedfor duration offorty minutes. They were done three times a week for eight weeks. The data was analyzed with Shapiro Wilk Test was used for normalizing data, Lavene Test was used homogenizing data, t-Paired Test was used for identifying the differences in physical fitness of every group and t-Independent Test was used for identifying the difference in physical fitness between the group. The result of analysis, with the level of meaningfulness of a = 0,05, shows that both the gymnastic exercise of Indonesia Jaya and the aerobic exercise could improve physical fitness. The former wihch was done for eight weeks could increase the time coverage of the aerobic exercise. It took them three minutes fifty five seconds to cover 2,5 kilometers. There was a 19,4% improvement. When the aerobic exercise was done there was a one minute fifty six second improvement ; in other word, the improvement was 9,5%.
