Abstract. Families economic status is the societies stratification or rank by measuring the societiesfamilies demographic condition being related to their monthly-routine expenses. It is in relation to their economic restrictions which mean being unable to buy good quality foodstuff, so that the families members nutrition [ulfillment will also be disturbed. This research aims to know the relationship between the families economic status and their toddler aged children's nutrition status at Children's Outpatient Ward of Ba dung Public Hospital 2009 with the descriptive analysis research type using crossectional designs and choosing samples by consecutive sampling towards 61 respondents. The result show the correlations coefficient (r) is 0,185 and p ~ 0,153. It has proved that there was a very weak relationship and not significant between the families economic status and their toddler aged children's nutrition status. There are relationship between the families economic status and their toddler aged children's nutrition status has caused at risk to decreasing the families nutrition status of which economic class was low. 1/ can be prevented by increasing the societies welfare throughout giving the information about the importance of givingfood/nutrition well to the toddler aged children's both in terms of its quality and quantity. By increasing the societies welfare, will the societies health status/rank themselves improve automatically, primarily the toddler aged children's nutrition status.
