Abstract : Life Expectancy Relationship With quality of life of elderly in Tanjung Seneng District Bandar Lampung City.,Number of elderly has increased from year to year along with increased life expectancy. Problems faced by the elderly can reduce the quality of life of elderly Preventing pain is easier and cheaper than treating a person when sick. One way to prevent this is to a healthy lifestyle. In the District of Tanjung Seneng 21 % elderly get care because of illness and are not satisfied with his life. The purpose of this study was to determine the. relationship of life style with quality of life of elderly in Tanjung Seneng District Bandar Lampung City. This study surveys a cress sectional analytic approach. Is the entire elderly population in the district of Tanjung Seneng numbered 1320 people by the number of samples of 100 people and simple random sampling technique. The data was collected through interviews with a questionnaire guide. Quality of life instruments drawn from the WHOQOL BREF and lifestyle questionnaire with a guide. Data analysis techniques used were the chi-square test and x.2 test multiple logistic regression prediction model. Results showed no relationship between lifestyle and quality of life of elderly in the district Tanjung Seneng Bandar Lampung City year 2009. Variables related to the eating habits of drinking (p =,000), exercise habits (p = 0.002), resting sleeping habits (p = 0.001), smoking (p = 0.029), recreational habits (p = 0.032), while the variable which do not relate the stress control.Conclusion drinking good eating habits is a lifestyle variable most dominant (OR = 12.21) after controlled by a variable exercise habits and sleeping habits as well as recreational breaks.
