Perbandingan Induksi Misoprostol dengan Induksi Oksitosin terhadap Lama Persalinan pada Kehamilan Postterm di RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Delanggu Klaten. (Comparium of Induction by Misoprostol and Oxytocin on Labor Time in Pastterm Pregnancy at RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Delanggu Klaten).
The incidence of postterm posttem pregnancy accounts 10% all of pregnancies, and causes perinatal mortality 3 to 5 time as many as full-term pregnancy, depending on placenta function. Labor induction can lessen perinatal mortality if it is carried out before the emergence of insufficency signs. Oxytocin has often been used for labor induction, but recently misoprostol has been increasingly used. This study aimed to compare the effects of misoprostol induction and oxytocin induction on labor time inpostterm pregnancy. This study was a double-blinded randomized controlled trial (RCT). The target population was mothers with postterm pregnancy who undertook induction. The source population was motherswith postterm pregnancy who underttok induction and gave birth at RSU Muhammadiyah Delanggu, Klaten, Central Java.
