Sindroma Klippel-Trenaunay: laporan 2 Kasus (Klippel Trenaunay Syndrom: Report of Two Cases)
Klippel-Trenaunay syndrom is a congenital vascular anomaly classicaly difines as the triad of vascular stain, nevoous varicosities and soft tissue hyperitophy. Many theroies Regarding the etiology of Klippel/trenautay Syndrome have been generated caused by a dedect while remodelling process on vascular. Patients suspected of having Klipped Trenauany Syndrome should be evaluated because of the progressivenature. We report the 2 cases diagnosed with Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome in a 4-day old female baby and 1 year old boy. Both of the patients complain of reddish pathes and hypertrophy of the extremites. No treatment was recomended other was pressure bandage on the right limb and clinical observation every 2 months while the second case for treatment was prescribed. In this 2 cases, the diagnosis of Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome was established based on anamnesis, clinical and supporting examination. The diagnosis of Klippel-Trenaunay Sundrome were made because of the present of port-wine stain and soft-tissue hypertrophy. The presence of geographic port-wine stain which is associated with lymphatic malformations and might increase the complication, therefor the prognosis on the first case more poor than the second case.
