Kusta Multibasilar Disertai Reaksi Eritema Nodosum Leprosum yang Diesertai dengan Rejumen Rifampisin-Klaritromisin dan Kortikosteroid (Multibacillary Leprosy with Erythema Nodosum Lepeosum Reaction Treated by Rifampicin-Clarithromycin, and Critucosteroid)

A combination Rifapisin 600 mg/bulan day for 3 months is one of the management of leprosy besides multi drug treatment (MDT-WHO. Erythema Nodusm leprosum reaction (ENL) is still a problem in the management of leprosy besides multi drug treatment (MDT-WHO). Erythema Nodosum leprosum reaction (ENL) is still a problem in the management of leprosy with corticosteroids as the major therapy. For determination the effectivity of rifampicin clarithromycin and corticosteroids in multibacillary with ENL reaction. A case of multibacillary leprosy with ENL maction in a 19 year sld woman presented with multiple pain erythematours nodules and plaques on her legs since 2 months ago. The diagnosis was based on history, clinical, bacteriologic and histopatologic findings. Case management: Therapy rifampicin 600 mg/month and claritromycin 500 mg/day for 3 months with tapering oil methylprednisolone 32 mg showed clinical and laboratry improvement. One of the managemrnt of multibacillary leprosy with Erithema ENL is rifampicia-claritromycin combined with systemic cortiosteroid. The combination has been proven giving clinical and laboratory improvement.
