Sensitivitas dan Spesifisitas gar Tajin untuk Indentifikasi Candida albicans pada Wanita Akseptor KB di Puskesmas Depok 1 Sleman Yogyakarta (Agar Tajin Sensitivity and Specivicity for Identification of Candida Albicand Among Hormonal Contraception at Puskesmas Depok 1 Sleman Yogyakarta)
The germ tube test was carried out to identity the yeast. Candida albicans (C. Albicans). Meanwhile, chlamydospora another morphological characteristic of C. Albicans, are formed when C. Albicans is inclbatel in cornmeal or rice tween agar.Agar tajin, product of boiled rice, is consist of carbohydrate could be as alternative media to indentify C albicans. Making agar tajin is casy and cheap. Agar tajin’s research as media to identify C albicans is never been found. To identify Agar Tajin sensitifity and specificity for identification of C. Albicans among hormonal contraception at Puskesmas Depok Isleman Yogyakarta. Vaginal discarge from 42 hormonal contraception woman were cultured at CEA media. Then,we identify the yeast cell at germ tube. Yeast cell were cultured again at agar tajin media. Agar tajin sensitivity and speificity value in comparison to germ tube test as a golden standard diagnostic tol. A diagnostic test such as sensitiflty, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, likelihood ratio positive, likelihood ratio positive, likelihood ratio negative, and accurancy was analyzed by Carmaker . The agar tajin sensitivity in 93% (IK95%:83-100), specivicity 93%: 79-100), and accuracy 93%. Agar tajin sensitivity and specificity is high as media to identify C. Albicans compared with germ tube as a golden standard.
