Nitric Oxide and Platelets Aggregation (Nitric oxide and Platelets Aggregation)
The goal of this paper was to know the role of nitric oxide upon humannof platelets aggregation the rolr of nitric oxide within platelets aggregation Nitric Oxide (NO), a compound released by the endothelium of blood vessel as endothelium derived relaxing factor (EDRF), is also produced in the brain its syntkesis from argrinie, areaction catalyzed in the brain by nitrict Oxide Synthase (NOS). NOS activitity has been demonstrated in central and peripheral sites throughout the aoutonomic nervous system, but recently .NOS have been found at other site, example, platelets. Activattes of NOS (nNOS: Type 1) and endothelial NOS (eNOS Type II): induccible NOS (iNOS: Type II). Platelets expres two isoform of NOS, Namely 2NOS and iNOS Nos of platelets (has a role on platelets aggregation) activated by β Adrenergic Receptor (β Adrenergic Receptor (βAR) that exist in platelets membrane in the platelest, source of NO is getter from endothelium cells or platelets themselves No from endonthelium simply diffuses to platelets. Platelets No is formed by activated eNOS and both soluble a stress can acticate platelets production by NO whenever a vessel is severed or rupture, collagen exposed to the blood, followed by βAR platelets active, eNOS and then cGMP concentration increased, cause inhibition platelets aggregation Conclussion is platelets NO has a role as inhibitor on platelets aggregation by βAR olatelets.
