Pengaruh Pemberian Klomifen Sitrat atau Ictrozole terhadap Perkembangan Folikel dan Profil Hormonal pada Unexplained Infertility
To compare the difference of the effect of CC or letrozole on follicle growth, evaluation event and hormonal profile (FSH, E2) in unexplained ifertility. Infertility clinic of FER sub-division of Obstetrics and Gynecology Division, Medical Faculty of Diponegoro University/Dr. Kariadi Central General Hospital, Semarang, Indonesia. Randomized double blind controled trial non matching. Randomized double blind controled trial non matching. From April – June 2008 there was 27 subjects in CC group and 28 in letrozole group. On the 3rd day of meastrual period, all subject underwent transvaginal sonography (TVS) and examine of TSH, LH, and E2 level. Subject then received 50 mg of CC or 2,5 mg of tetrozole, per oral, once a day until 7th dy period. On the 8th and 12th day of period, all subject underwent TVS and hormonal examination. If ovulation did not event yet, TVS was continud on the 14th 16th until 18th day of period. In CC group: On the 8th and 12th of period, follicles diameter were bigger, 18 mm on 8th and > 25 mm on 12th all were multiple nature foolcles, ovulation event on 12th -13th day; FSH, LH, and E2 level were higher. In letrozole group: all subject were single mature follicle; ovulation event on 14th-15th day. Bigger in follicle diameter, all were multiple mature follicles, earlier ovalution event, and higher FSH, LH and E2 in CC group – In letrozole group: all single mature follicle, ovulation event on 14th of period.
