Hubungan Pajanan Infeksi Helicobacter Pylori dengan Kejadian Hiperemesis Gravidarum
To analyze the relation and risk of Helicobacter pylori infection toward Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Ward and Policlinic of Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Fatmawati Hospital, Gatot Subroto Central Army Hospital, Tangerang Hosital. Comparative Cross Sectional, which compared Gravidarum and asymptomatic pregnant women with Hyperemesis Gravidarum and asymptomatic pregnant women with hyperemesis Gravidarum and asymptomatic pregnant women as control. The study was performed for 15 months (August 2006- October 2007). There were 55 pregnant women of 8-16 weeks of gestational age with Hyperemesis Gravidarum and 55 asymptomatic pregnant women with the same gestational age. Anamnesis, physical examination, ultrasonography and laboratory examination were porfermed. Helicobacter Pylori infection was characterized with the presence of IgG in the serum sampel, examined with ELISA at The Laboratorium Biomedik RSU Matarm, while Hyperemesis Gravidarum was diagnosed with clinical symptom and signs, and positive ketoneuria. Data was analyzed with STATA 8 and chi square test. IgG of anti Helicobacter Pylori was in 37 women (67.3%) of the case study, and 19 women (34.5%) case control. Prevalency of seropositive Helicobacter Pylori at the case study was 56.97% - 77.63% and at case control 29.96%-39.04% (95% CI). There is significant relationbetween Helicobacter Pylori infection and Hyperemesis Gravidarum (p 0.001). There is also a significant relation between body mass index (BMI) 25 and Hyperemesis Gravidarum (p0.014). There is no significant difference at age, education, accupation and parity of the samples. Young pregnant women with helicobacter Pylori infection and with body mass index (BMI) 25 have higher risk to have Hyperemesis Gravidarum
