Variasi Pemeriksaan Glukosa Darah dengan Glukosameter

The glucosameter has been widely used to monitor blood glucose level. There are many products of glucosameter with different types and methods. The goal in this study wass to determine the precision and acccuracy of Medisafe compared with the enzymatic methods in blood glucose examination. This study wass a cross sectional one. Each patient measured with glucosameter Medisafe and enzymatic hexakinase method using Hitachi 7070 autoanalyzer. Then we calculated the glucosameter intra-individual CV of capillary blood specimen and intra-run CV of anticoagulated EDTA blood specimen. We found that inntra-individual CV of capillary blood specimen from Medisafe glucosameter was 9.07% and intra-rum CV of anticoagulated EDTA blood specimen was 6.06%. Medisafe has a good correlation with the enzymatic hexokinase method (r=0.955). We concluded that CV of glucosameter Medisafe canaccomplish the requierement of ADA criteria
