Bcl-2 dan Indeks Apoptosis pada Hiperplasia Endometrium Non-atipik Simpleks dan kompleks

To Assess the difference and correlation of Bel-2 expressian and apoptotic index in simple non atypical endometrail hyperplasia. Paraffin-embedded non-atypical endometrial hyperplasia tissues were obtained from ccurretage speciments which each. Expression of Bcl-2 protein was examined by endometrial hyperplasia. Expression of Bcl-2 protein was examined by immunohistochemistry for calculation persentage of stained cells and intensity of the staining the terminal acti-vity was assed on the same tissue sections using the terminal deoxy-nucleotitidyl transferase-mediated deoxyuridine triphosphate nick end lobeling (TUNEL) assay. Persentage of positively stained cells and apoptotic cells was counted by ten different high power fields (40 x magnification). Analysis was done for comparing two independent sample test and correlation with statistically significance if p≤0.05 and prevalence ratio was determined. The patient’s characteristics were the same between two groups. There was no difference of positive intensity of the staining in endometrial 96.4% (p = 0.176). Expression of Bcl-2 in complex hyperplasia 96.4% (p=0.176). Expession of Bcl-2 in complex en dometrial hyperplasia was higher than simple (p=0.013). Within cut of point 0.92 of Bcl-2 expression, the endometrium with Bcl-2 ≥ 0.92 had a risk 2.6 times to be a complex non-atypical hyperplasia (p =0.001; Prevalence Ratio 2.6; 95%, CI=1.3 -5.1). Apoptotic index in simple endometrial hyperplasia was greater than in complex (p=0.014). Apoptotic index with cut off point 9 was explained that apoptotic index ≥ 9 had a risk to be a simple non-atypical endometrial hyperplasia 3.8 times (p=0.002; Prevalence Ratio 3.8; 95%, CI = 1,4-99). Simple hyperplasia had a moderately negative correlation (r=0.664; p= 0.000) between expression of Bcl-2 and apoptotic index and there was not found a negative correlation in complex cases (r=0.208; p=0.85) Expression of Bcl-2 in complex non-atipycal endometrial hyperplasia has been greater than in simple and apoptotic index is lower in complex than in simple. Negative correlation between expression of Bcl-2 and apoptotic index is only found in simple non-atypical endometrial hyperplasia.
