Deteksi Human Papilloma Virus pada Sediaan Sitologi Papanicolaou Smear Lesi Serviks: Suatu Uji Diagnostik

To know the diagnotic accuracy of cervic cytology in detecting HPV infection on cervic lession. This study is perfomed in Publik Health Centers in Bangli(Tembuku and Susut regency) and Gianyar (Payangan regency), Bali. This study design is a diagnostic test. Pap smear were performed to all intercourse with cervical lession. Cytology evaluation was done in Histopathology Department Faculty of medicine Udayana/Sanglah. Hospital Denpasar and PCR evaluation was done in Molecular Biology Laboratory of Leiden University in Netherlands. The accuracy of cytotology was 75%, sensitivity was 67.8%, spesificity was 77,3%, positive predictive value 50%, and negative value 50%, and negative predictive value were 87.8%, false positive value and false negative value were 50%, and 12.2% respectively. This study shows that cytology axamination can also be used to detect HPV.
