Hubungan Motivasi Kerja dengan Kinerja Perawat di Rumah Sakit
The quality of professional services in hospitals can be from the nurses daily performances. The lack of motivation among nurses resulted in less optimal nursing performances. The study intended to identify the relationship between nurses motivation and performance in rumah sakit Haji Surabaya Hospital. This was carried out in a cross sectional analytical investigation. The population under study was all nurses aperating in patient ward or instalasi rawat inap (IRNA) of the rumah sakit hji Surabaya hospital, a total of 210 nurses were studied. A sample of 40 respondents were drawn randomly from the population. Information were gathered by questionnaires and through focused group discussions (FGD). Results of the observation showed that nurses level of motivation was moderate, especially on the fulfilment of the following: 1) basic needs (60%), 2) need for security (57,5%), and self esteem (52,5%). Portion of the nurses indicated a high level of performances (52.5%). There was a relationship between nurses motivation and performance (p=0,048)
