Kesehatan Masyaraat Sekitar Lokasi Tambang di Nusa Tenggara Barat
Study of publik health in mining area was conducted in order to measure nutrition status, exposure biomarker of mercury and arsemi, and secondary data of health status of people from puskesmas, who lived in that area. Laboratory analysis have done for 161 speciments of hair and urine to detect mercury and arsemic as exposure biomarker. The people who have given the speciments were interviewed. The results were 31,3% people in benette (mining area) and 20% people in Tua Nanga (control) have low weight status, respectively. Average mercury consentration in hair were normal in the both of areas (100 µg/l), and for the people in control area higher than in mining area, respectively. It were not enough data to correlate between health impact and exposure yet.
