Perbedaan Persetase Lemak Tubuh antara Metode BOD POD dan Metode Skinfold Caliper
Body fat persentage is a part of body composition which can be used as an inicatorof Weight-related disease. There are a lot of methos whichcan be used to measure body fat perentage. Two of them are BOD POD and Skin fold Caliper method. Each of them have their own advantage in order to measure body fat. Therefore, this study purpose was to compare the result of the measurement of body ft percentage between the BOD POD method and the Skinfold caliper method in padjadjaran University Faculty of Medicine student class of 200 has been conducted. The subjects of this study were ten male students who were chosen randomly. This study used descriptive survey method by measuring body fat percentage of each subject. The result of the measurement of body fat percentage between the BOD POD method and the skin fold Caliper method did not show significant difference statistically (paired sample t-test with p≤0,05). The average measurement of body fat percentage using the BOD POD method was 23,81% (8,33%), whereas by using the Skin FOLD Caliper method was 23,04%. The average difference of measurement using the BOD POD method and the Skin cold Caliper method was 0,7% (4,11%). Inconlusion, that there was no significant difference of the result of the measurement of body fat between the BOD POD method and the Skin Caliper
