Percakapan Silang Reseptor Steroid (Steroid Receptor Cross Talk)
The goals of this miniview are: Firstly, to know that the cross-talk may be defined as a functional interaction between two (or more) signaling pathways. And also cross-talk may involve different steps of the pathways. Some signaling molecules are able to bind to and activate different nuclear receptors. In addition, some ligands may be be agonist of a given nuclear receptor and antagonist or inverse agonist of another receptor. Secondly, to understand that cross-talk may result from the possibility that target gene products (enzymes) of a given pathway may affect the chemical integrity and therefore the functionally of ligands/activators of a receptor controlling another pathway. This dynamic behavior offers interesting possibilities for cross-talk between the receptor and interacting pathways. Many signaling cascades can rapidly modify a given response at genomic targets. Thirdly, in related to cross talk among the steroid hormones can act as chemical messengers in a wide range of species and target tissues to produce both slow genomic responses, and rapid non-genomic responses. Thereby the fungtional crosstalk between steroid receptors and tyrosine-kinase receptors of the other steroid hormone such as estrogen, progesterone, corticosteroid accurs in both the cytoplasm and nucleus of steroid-dependent cells. These interactions may allow for therapeutic manipulations of steroid-dependent cells. These interactions may allow for therapeutic manipulations of specific pathways, perhaps equally effectively for treatment of steroid-dependent or steroid-dependent cancers arising from these cells.
