The Effect of Local Anesthetics 2 Percent Lidocaine Combined with Adrenaline and 3 Percent Prilocaine through the Blood Pressure (Pengaruh Bius Lokal Kombinasi Lidokain 2 dengan Adrenalin dan Prilokain 3 terhadap Tekanan Darah)
Local anesthetics is widely used in dentistry especially in the treatment and extraction of teets. Therefore its adequate depth and long duration of clinical action is needed. To enhanche the duration of the anesthetics, adrenaline which possesses vasoconstricting activity is added into it. Addition of this agent will increase blood pressure. So other materials that can help achieve adequate depth and duration of anesthesia but does not contain adrenaline is needed, 3 percent prilocaine is one of the alternatives. The purpose of this research is to find the difference in blood pressure alteration caused by the administration of local anesthetics with and without adrenaline, in this case 3 percent prilocaine. By exploring the effects of the local anesthetics on blood pressure, one could determine more throughly the material of local anesthetics to use, as to adjust it to the patient's health and condition.
