The Study of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) Vector Population, Aedes aegypty and the Correlation to the Types of Housing through the Area of Cawang, Eastern Jakarta (Hubungan antara Indeks Larva Vektor Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), Aedes aegypty (Linnaeus) dengan Tipe Perumahan di Daerah Cawang, Jakarta Timur)
The study of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) vector population, Aedes aegypty I, and the correlation to the housing with the type of good, average and bad, throught the area of Cawang, Eastern Jakarta was done in 1990. The population density was clarified in Larva Index : Container Index (C.I), House Index (H.I) and Bretaeau Index (B.I). Larva survey was done by a single larva method. population density in the research area is always high, with the average C.I. : 16.9 percent; H.I. : 29.89 percent. Based on WHO density figure, this area becomes the with scale 5 density, it means that this area has the highest risk in spreading DHF. From the statistics analysis, the value of C.I. and H.I. to the housing with type good, average and bad has no significant difference, but not B.I to these type of housing. To the housing in good and average type, the value of B.I. is higher than the housing in bad type with the value B.I. : 50.2; 38.5 and 32.1. The conclusion is that DHF vector population in the area of Cawang, Eastern Jakarta to the housing in good type has higher density.
