Eye Defect caused by Occupational Accident or Occupational Diseases (Penilaian Cacat Mata karena Kecelakaan/Penyakit Akibat Kerja)

Nowadays eye defect caused by accident or job is increasing paralel with the speedy development of industries. There are many eye sight abnormalities that cause visual deficiency beside other eye diseases, as the result of job. In the eye Department, General Hospital, Medical Faculty Christian University of Indonesia, the case of strange thing found in cornea becomes very often to be found. Visual efficiency covers : the percentage of decreasing the range of visibility, the loss of eye ball movement coordination, and the decreasing of the decreasing of the visual activity. However, every labours in Indonesia should be provided with safety, maintenance, protection as well as the increase of job productivity. Participation from the government and minister of labour in publishing the guidance and evaluation of the eye defect due to accident or job could determine the calculation to the amount of compensation caused by loss of visual acuity.
