The Comparative Study between Serological Test and Coaglutinase Standard Test for Indication of S. aureus (Studi Perbandingan antara Uji Serologi dengan Uji Standar Koagulisa untuk Indentifikasi S. aureus)
A comparative study between serology test and coagulation test standard for identification S. aureus from clinical specimens has been conducted at Department of Microbiology Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia in 1993. The result were : by using serological test 54 (54 percent) isolated S. aureus of 100 Staphylococcus isolates give positive results as well as the same result using coagulation test standard. Statistically the two results show no significant differences (p more than 0.05). From the practical point of view, serological, test for S. aureus identification were easier and simpler than coagulation test standard.
