Stature Comparison of Indonesian Male Malayid on Several Schools in Jakarta (Perbandingan Tinggi Badan Pria Malayid Indonesia pada Beberapa Sekolah di Jakarta)

To study the influence of improved nutrition toward stature, we took a sample of 113 male medical students of Yarsi University. All subjects belong to Malayid and their age ranged between 18 to 23 years. Their stature is compared to Malayid students of three high schools in Jakarta measured in 1961. The result shows that the stature of male medical student of Yarsi University is significantly higher than student of the three high schools mentioned. It can be concluded that improvement of economic development in the last 25 years had improved the nutrition of the Indonesian people which can be depicted in form of higher stature.
