The Exploratory Study on Licensure Problem of Radiographer (Penelitian Eksploratif Tentang Hambatan dalam Pengurusan Surat Ijin Kerja pada Tenaga Radiographer)

This exploratory study on licensure of radiographer, working in hospital and clinics in the municipality of Surabaya held during July till October 1992, has the objective to investigate how far the stipulations on working licensure has been conformed without of 124 radiographer only 15 (12.10 percent) are protected by licensure. The rest do not know the procedure to reques for it, or are not even given the oportunity to request it Goverment Regulation No. 11 of the year 1975 and the Minister of Health Regulation No. 277 of the year 1988 are not known at hospital and clinics in Surabaya. So there is strong need to disseminate them to hospitals and clinic. The professional organization of PARI is the only agent conscious of this vacuum, so they can be involved in disseminating those regulations throughout the country.
