Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in Pregnancy (Lupus Eritematosus Sistemik pada Kehamilan)
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) in pregnancy, frequently create problem to internists, obstetric-gynecologist and pediatricians who deals with the disease. The factors that caused these problems, there are no clear explanation about the mechanisms which allow the fetus allograft to survive in utero. On the other hand, it is widely known that in pregnant SLE patients there are also many factors that influence the pregnancy and also there are factors in pregnancy which can influence the natural history of SLE which currently still could not be explained clearly. A side from those problems above, this review also discuss the management of SLE in pregnancy and the effects of drugs used during the breast feeding period.
