Antiphospholipid Antibodies Profile in Patients with Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion in dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital, Malang (Profil Antibodi Antifosfolipid pada Penderita Abortus Berulang di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Saiful Anwar, Malang)
The aim of the study was to assess the profile of antiphospholipid antibodies (AP) in patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA). Fifty pregnant women with RSA were studied compared with 52 healthy pregnant women as control. The results showed that the frequency of APA were significantly higher in pregnant women as control. The results showed that the frequency of APA were significantly higher in pregnant women with RSA compared with control. Anticardiolipin antibody in pregnant women with RSA was 18 percent (IgG 8 percent, IgM 10 percent) and lupus anticoagulant (LA) was 4 percent. In the control group IgG was 1.9 percent. IgM 1.9 percent and LA 0 percent. It was concluded that there was corelation between APA and RSA.
