Complex Interaction between Surfactant and Absorpt Membrane Modification (Interaksi Kompleks Obat Surfaktan dan Modifikasi Membran Absorpsi)
This study was done in order to collect the corresponding data about the complex interaction between the drug and the mixed additive, consisted of surfactant like agent andnonionic surfactant, and the membrane modification. The in vivo investigation of the acetosal suspension contained poliethylene glycol (PEG) 400 and tween 80 (PT) 1 percent, 3 percent, and 10 percent have been carried out. The suspension was administrated orally (500 mg/kg bw) to the male rabbit, and the drug blood level had been assayed by using Trinder methods. The data resulted in the increase of the absorption rate constants but in the decrease of the relative biovailabilities when the PT (9:1) was applied. The data of applying the PT (1:9) expressed that the absorption rate constants were relatively constant and the relative biovailabilites were increase. The appropriate data were in accordance with the relevant data of the complex interaction and the membarne modification processes.
