The Efficacy Test of Levocabastine and Antazolin-Naphazoline Eye Drops on Vernalis Conjungtivitis in Yogyakarta (Uji Efikasi Tetes Mata Levokabastin dan Antazolin-Nafazolin pada Konjungtivitis Vernalis di Yogyakarta dan Sekitarnya)
Clinical eficacy levocabastine eye drops was compared with antazoline-nafazoline. Each drug was tried on 30 samples. Criteria used for evaluate was stage of illnes with score ranging from 0-36. Complete recovery was stated if all symptoms were dissapeared. Complate recovery was noted on 14th day after treatment until the end of treatment (28th day) Complete recovery noted on 23.3 percent of levocabastine group and 26.7 percent of antazoline-nafazoline group. However the percentage of sample who showed any recovery was higher on lovacobastine group. Symptoms of bum sensation also disappeared more in lovacobastine group, while sense of foreign object disappeared more in antazoline group while other effects were higher in levocabastine group.
