Psychosocial Stresor and Anxiety, its Related with Psoriasis on Male Patient at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (Stresor Psikososial dan Anxietas dalam Hubungannya dengan Psoriasis pada Pasien Lelaki di RS Cipto Mangunkusumo)

It is proved in western countries that psychosocial stressor and anxiety is highly found to psoriasis compare to patients with fungi infection. This study is trying to see the correlation between psycho-social stressor as well as anxiety and psoriasis in our community. This case control study is more like cross sectional and ex post facto case. This study is done through library research, mean while field study is done to psoriasis patients and tinea versicolor cured at Dermato and Venerology clinic at Cipto Mangunkusumo General-Hospital by doing clinical psychiatry examination, Hamilton Rating Scall for Anxiety (HRS-A) and filler on a questionaire for psychosocial stressor. The result of this research is proccessed manually by using U-Test Man whitney statistical analysis. From 23 psoriasis patients and 21 psoriasis patients and 21 tinea versicolor patients examined during March 1- April 30, 1992, psychosocial stressor is highly found than psoriasis patients (p less than 0.0007) as weel as anxiety (p less than 0.00003).
