Determination of Origin of Spindle Cell Neoplasm of Lymph Node by Mean of Immunohistochemical Technique (Penentuan Asal Neoplasma Sel Spindel Kelenjar Getah Bening Tehnik Imunohistokimia)

Up to date, spindle cell neoplasm is still regarded as one of the most difficult to identify, due to various types of classification on non Hodgkin malignant lymphomas. This study was an attempt to determine the neoplastic spindles cell reticulosarcomas by using immunohistochemical tecnique againts lysozyme, S 100 protein, kappa, lambda and R4/23. It is concluded that by adopting the immunohistochemical technique mentioned, I succeeded to determine eight cases of spindle cell type of neoplasms, where five were dentritic reticulosarcomas and three were interdigitating reticulosarcomas.
