Hubungan Kejadian Pre Eklampsia dengan Persalinan Preterm di VK IRD RSU Soetomo Surabya
Pre-eklampsia is a disorder occurring during pregnancies or during labor and may influence mothers and foetal conditions. A complication that may happen among foetoeses is prematurity. This study was aimed at identifying the relationship between pre-eklampsia mothers and pre-term deliveries in an analytical case control design. Data were collected from existing medical recors and by using data collection sheet from January 1, 2008-December 31, 2008 involving 135 respondents out individuals at VK unit of IRD RSU Dr Soetomo hospital in Surabaya. The study discovered that among the 135 respondents, 31 mothers experienced pre ekklampsia where most of them (16 individuals) underwent Dre-term deliveries, and almost all respondents (83 mothers) have aterm deliveries without pre-eklampsia. Calculation resulted in the calculated-x² value of 10,32 and table derived-x² Tabel value of 3.84. Therefore the calculated-x² > table-derived-x² meaning that HO was rejected, there was a relationship between occurrence of pre-eklampsia among mothers with preterm deliveries. The study suggested that midwives should indicate more intensive ANC counceling on the for early detection of pre-eklampsia in the prevention of preterm deliveries.
