Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kunjungan Balita Usia 3-5 Tahun ke Poasyandu (Penelitian di Ds. Plumpungrejo Kec. Wonosari Kab. Madiun)

The issue addressed in the observation was the low attendance by children 3-5 years of age to the posyandu it plumpungrejo village, Wonosar, Madiun. This research was aimed at identifying the factors that influence children’s attendance to the Posyandu. This was a descriptive study through surveys, involving the use of primary as well as recondary data. The population to be engged induced mothers who have children of 3-5 years old, all Posyandu in the area, and all Posyandu managing persinnel. A total of 99 respondents were drawn from the population by simple random sampling covering 5 posyandus with all their management teams. Research data were gathered by questionnaires. Check lists and documen tracking. The descriptive approach to research data resulted in tables and diagrams to be analyzed. Results of this study showed that mothers with low level of formal education were 80.8%, and 98% have positive way of thinking, 50.5% belonged to middle social economic class, low social economic class amounted to 44.4%, barely have adequate accomodation 80%, management teams showing good skills, children and mother’s attendance to Posyandu related to the low educational level, somewhat neutral atitude, and with the low social economic class. The study concuded from the description above, that those who acquired middle level of education, and belonged to high social econmic segment, and have positive way of thinking preferred not to visit the posyandu
