Hubungan Pengetahuan dengan Sikap Ibu Pasangan Usia Subur tentang Metoda Kontrasepsi Mantap

Metoda Kontrasepsi mantap is a contraceptive procedure involving surgical treatment, performed at women’s fallopian tubes or men’s sperm tubes. Metoda kontrasepsi mantap represents one of contrasptive procedures to terminate fertility or pregnancy. This study aimed to find out the relationship of women’s working knowledge and their attitude toward metoda kontrasepsi mantap, in tumpak Kepuh village, Bakung subdistrict, Blitar district. The study was a cross Sectional observational on a female populationof ellgilbe couples or PUS in Tumpak Kepuh, Bakung, Blitar, performed on a sample of 251 subjects or eligible couples, or PUS, drawn by Quota Sampling technique. Information were gathered by indirect interview using Questionnaires, distributed among the respondents. Independent Variable of to be observed in this research was PUS women’s working knowledge on about metoda kontrasepsi mantap and the dependents to be discovered was PUS womens attitude toward metoda kontrasepsi mantap. Field data were processed by an analytical tool. Speaman’s rho, resulted in a p value=0.0001, at significance level α = 0.05 showing p < a, the null hypothesis was successfully rejected, there was a relationship between women’s working knowledge and their attitude toward metoda kontrasepsi matap. Among the influential factors favoring the results included provion of relevant information to respondents, educational level of the respondents, age and their experiences relating to contraceptive methods especially metoda kontrasepsi mantap
