Perilau Ibu dalam Stimulasi Perkembangan Bayi 0-3 Bulan

This was a survey type of research on a population of mothers having babies above 3 month old where 42 respondents were put under study. The took place in Kelurahan Kopolorejo, Megetan subdistrict in Magetan Regency in July 2007. The investigated variable was mothers behavior, i.e. their working knowledge, attitude, and practice on the provision of growth stimulation to babies of 0-3 month old. Data were gathered by questionnaires and then analyzed by their percentages. Result of the survey indicated that mothers level of working knowledge on the provision of growth stimulation to 0-3 month old babies were mostly (57, 14%( have shown supportive attitude (28,57%) indecisive, and (14,29%) less supportive attitude. In terms of their practices in providing growth stimulation, all mothers admitted that they have only done some portion of growth stimulation which ought to have been done. They study concluded that mothers behavior on the provision of growth stimulation to their 0-3 month old babies showed that of them have moderate level of working knowledge, supportive attitude, and did only some portion of the steps which ought to have been done. The survey suggested to the Puskesmas Candirejo and Dinas KBKS to keep on their efforts in improving mothers knowledge so that. It may result in improved attitude and practices in the provision of growth stimulation to babies. The efforts should be extened to all members of the society, including the mothers to be and their families.
