Dampak Pencemaran Debu pada karyawan PT. Reckitt Benckiser Indonesia Semarang-Factory Tahun 2008
This investigation was aimed at understanding the impacts of particulate pollution on factory workers at production units especially at raw maternal transfer. Data were gathered through observations, interviews and measurements. Description of the various risk factors and disease causes were made trough analytical observations. Measurements were performed to quantify pollution particulate matters, temperature, humidity and wind velocity. Among various field instrument used were personal Dust Sample (PDS). Themohygrometer and Anemometer. Measurements of particulate concentration using Personal Dust Sampler (PDS) discovered that at raw maternal transfer activities in Production unit has exceeded the Threshold values designated in Surat Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan RI No. 1905/ Menkes/ SK/ XI/ 2002. Nine out of 10 respondents interviewed have expressed some subjective complaints relating to particulate pollution. Statistical analyses using chi-Square (Fisher’s Exact Test) assisted by SPSS resulted in a figure of Exact Sig 1.000> α (0.05), meaning that there was n imacts or influence from particulate at work environment on subjective colaints expressed by factory workers.
