Pengaruh Faktor Pendamping Keluarga pada Ibu Bersalin Kala 1 Fase pada Nilai APGAR Bayi Menit Pertama
Delivery processes are accompanied with anxiety, fear and worry. Mothers concern is a stressor resulted from lack of care and attention from surrounding people during delivery process. Early observation indicated that 40% of husbands lack of exertion in standing by their wives during delivery process. Husbands presence by their wives resulted in impacts on their babies (depkes. 2001), i.e. APGAR value of less tan 7. This was an analytical study on a selected cohort. Respondents were by Systematical Random Sampling A total of 30 respondents to be accompanied by relatives and another not to be accompanied by relatives were selected. The independent variable wa the presence of family relatives. Te dependent variable was APGAR value of babies on early minutes. Data were gathered using observation sheets. The difference of recorded APGR values were tested by Man Whitney test at 0.05 significance level. Results of the study showed that babies in the delivered in the precence of family relatives indicated verage APGAR values of 7, with 0.8583 standard deviation. Meanwhile average APGAR values of babies delivered without the presence of family relatives was 6, with 1.14921 standard deviation. The men Whitney test proved a difference on early minutes APGAR values between babies delivered by mothers accompanied and not accompanied by family rerlatives. The study concluded that that the presence of family relatives standing by mothers in the process of delivery at first period did have an impact on babies early minute APGAR values.
