Pengaruh Pemberian Kombinasi Ekstrak Acalypha indica Linn dan Peperomia pellucida [L] H.B.K. terhadap Fungsi Hati Tikus Putih (Effect of Combination of Acalypha indica Linn and Peperomia pellucida lL] H.B.K. Extract on Liver Fungction of white Rats)

The previous study has shown that combination of Acalypha indica Linn and Peperonmia pellucida [L.] H.B.K. gave effect on reducing uric acid of white rats. The objective of this study was to study was to study the effect of the extract combination of A, indica and P. pellucid on liver function of white ras to 72 male and female rats after 30 days administration. The study showed that there was no significant differences of the activity of alanine aminotrans ferase, the plasma phosphatase, and the average diameter of liver central vein, either in the treatment or normal control group (? = 0,05). The results of this study suggest that the extract combination of A. indica and P. pellucida does not influence the function of the liver of male and female white rats.
