Field Bioassay Test of Lorsban 480Ec, Lorsban 150ULV and Malathion 96EC on Ae. aegypti (Pengaruh Jarak Pengasapan ULV dengan Beberapa Insektisida dalam Uji Hayati terhadap Aedes aegypti)

A trial was conducted using ULV spraying of Lorsban 480 EC (dosages 100 ml/ha and 150 ml/ha), Lorsban 150 ULV (dosages 250 ml/ha) and Malathion 96 EC (dosages 500 ml/ha) against Aedes aegypti-vector of DHF-in Semarang regencyn 1994. Spraying was conducted using portable ULV fontan generator in the morning for two cycles with 7 days interval. The air bioassay test for all insectisides tested showed a 100 percent mortality of Aedes aegypti obtained from a distance of 45m from spraying point after 24 hours observation in the laboratory.
