Analisa Dermatitis Kontak pada Pekerja Pencucian Botol di PT X Medan Tahun 2008

This descriptive study with Cross-sectional design was conducted in the 50 bottle cleaners working for PT X Medan in 2008 to examine the relationship between their length of service, knowledge and action and the contact dermatitis. The 50 bottle cleaners were selected to be the sample for this study. The data for this study was collected through questionnaire-based interviews and observing the action of the bottle cleaners and to find out the bottle cleaners suffering from contact dermatitis diagnose was done by a dermatologist. The data obtained were statistically through Chi-square test. Based on the distribution of frequency, it is shown that the bottle cleaners suffering from contact dermatitis is 54%. The result of statistical test reveals that there is no significant relationship between length of service and contact dermatitis with P-value = 0,794 (
